THE STORY SO FAR…

Jay Tennant is a Warwickshire-based singer/songwriter.

After ten years fronting bands from across the Midlands, Jay is embarking on the next stage of his musical journey – his debut solo album.

With a distinctive voice blending the thoughtful soul-searching of Urban Hymns-era Ashcroft with the charismatic aura of Echo and the Bunnymen leader Ian McCulloch, Jay looks set to make his indelible mark on the UK’s indie scene in 2018.

 

Really enjoyed chatting to Jay Tennant a very level headed individual who creates some amazing music. Hes due to release his next album on Bandcamp in April and the Vynal release will be in June/July.

 

We discussed his love for music and also the music industry and how its radically changed from what it used to be. The message was clear from Jay do what you love to do and enjoy it.

He creates music to leave a legacy which is a very interesting thing and shows what kind of person is behind the artist.

 

Some of the very serious questions “Should King size pot noodles come with a kingsize sauce”, Jay agrees this is a logical move
