The Full Interview for Introducing on Duggystone Radio

Council Cut – is the singer and songwriter for all his music , he even plays the instruments and does not use backing tracks or beats. His style is more like bands like the Gorillas or the streets, its more poverty to music than rapping, its definitely not rapper to be ultra clear.

his latest release is Homegrown and like all his other tracks are personal almost dirty entrys , th topics and lyrics are real. he’s not singing about all the things other artist do, basically the fake them. All the lyrics are real and basically all th stuff he does stop have. Homegrown listen for the line “Took a payday loan to get this track through ”

HomeGrown

We first became aware of Council Cut when he collaborated with The Mease on High Definition, we also interviewed then for DuggystoneRadio. The unique sound of this track and the look of the video was compelling enough to dig a little deeper and get Council cut on the show. The lease also use Riff Factory and where the collaboration was put together.

His Room 101

Beady Eye were an English rock band formed in London in 2009 by former Oasis members Liam Gallagher (vocals), Gem Archer (guitar), Andy Bell (guitar), and Chris Sharrock (drums). In 2013, former Kasabian guitarist Jay Mehler joined the band as a touring bassist. The band was created when Oasis’ lead guitarist and primary songwriter Noel Gallagher quit in August 2009, after which the remaining members decided to rename themselves and continue making music.[1]

The band released two studio albums—Different Gear, Still Speeding (2011) and BE (2013)—both of which reached the top 5 on the UK Albums Chart, though they had only one UK top 40 single with “The Roller”, which peaked at No. 31. They received some praise from Oasis fans, with Q claiming that their debut album was the best Liam had performed on since Oasis’ (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.[2]

Tracks recorded and produced at RiffFactory in Stoke

Riff Factory was established in 2013 by Stoke-on-Trent musicians Tom Carter and Ant Hulme.  With years of gigging and recording experience between them they decided to make their own mark on the music scene forming Riff Factory; giving local musician the perfect place to practice their riffs and record their master piece.

Riff Factory is now a big part of the Stoke music scene with many bands making connections and even forming here.  Take a listen to some of the awesome sounds coming from the studio or contact us to book your rehearsal today.

We talk about Oak cakes a  traditional Stoke dish

A Staffordshire oatcake (a type of savoury pancake) is made from oatmeal, flour and yeast to make a dense pancake. It is cooked on a griddle, “backstone” or “baxton”. The oatcake is a local speciality in the North Staffordshire area of England. They are normally referred to as Staffordshire oatcakes by non-locals, because they are made in and around Staffordshire and Cheshire; locally they are simply called “oatcakes”.[1]
