Apollo Junction is a British Alternative rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire. The band consists of Jamie Williamson, Matthew Wilson, Jonathan Thornton, Ben Hope and Sam Potter. The name derived from a pub they were in called The Junction discussing the bands mutual love of the Rocky films.

from the ability to sing live, the melody, vocals and the videos are all on point and a band we are going to spin a lot more on the station, its just good stuff.

It was great to chat with Matt – we started with a live acoustic video which demonstrates their abilities and Matt explained before the amazing Janice Long asked them onto tlive lounge they did not think they could do an acoustic set.
Well, this shows how good they are for sure, see some bands are great in the studio but not live, this separates the men from the boys.
When asked what’s going ion room 101 Kirk chuckled as it was Queen (we know Eddie was throwing things at the Alexa for sure), not because they are not good but well over-hyped in their ability. His caveat is this is not the bands 101 they are mine.
Our street team said “These are like the new Cold play and if they don’t make it big something is really wrong in the world”, we agree with that for sure.
